English summer school in New York is set in one of the most exciting cities in the world at the best location ever – on Manhattan! Improve your English skills in the multicultural environment by discovering and exploring the cultural heritage of New York: Times Square, Central Park, Greenwich Village, Wall Street with the view of the Hudson River and the famous Statue of Liberty.
ACCOMMODATION ■ The attendees of the summer camp are accommodated in the campus of the Manhattan College in the North of Manhattan (25 minutes on subway to Central Park) in triple and quad twin-room en-suite apartments. The package includes full board (various dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Every floor has its own laundry room and free Wi-Fi access. The campus has well-equipped classrooms and sports facilities, including everything necessary for the safe and pleasant stay in our summer school. The attendees will have a chance to meet the students of their age from all over the world and practise their English in real-life situations and American diversity.
LESSONS ■ Our partner school in New York offers classes with an emphasis on communication and conversation, with the aim of not only teaching students English, but inspiring them to love it as well. All teachers are native speakers and highly qualified professionals with a lot of practical experience. The programme includes 15 hours of tuition per week.
ACTIVITIES AND FIELD TRIPS■ Apart from tuition, the summer school offers five half-day and one full-day field trip per week, including visits to the New York city centre and its major landmarks. The package also includes a variety of interesting evening activities on campus, with the option of seeing the city at night (tickets included for the Empire State Building, Metropolitan Museum, MOMA, Guggenheim, Natural History Museum, and river boat ride). The two-week programme also includes three dinners, one of which is in Hard Rock cafe. The optional field trips may include a visit to Niagara Falls, a Broadway show, amusement park or a night in Washington (additional field trips are not included in the price).
