Veni Vidi Visa (I came, I saw, I used my credit card)
28 April – 5 May 2019 (8 days, 7 nights)
Dr Samuel Johnson, the creator of the first English Dictionary said “When a man is tired of London he is tired of life”. As without doubt, one of the greatest cities on Earth, London needs very little in the way of an introduction. This programme is designed to show first time visitors and infrequent travelers the very best of the city without the worry and hassle of finding the tourist hot spots and navigating the tube. Guests are guided through the streets and shown the sights until they feel comfortable enough to head off on their own.
Guests are located in The Stay Club in Willesden, Bed & Breakfast is included in the package and rooms are twin bedded en-suite. They include a refrigerator and kitchenette (with sink, plates and utensils and microwave) so that you have a choice to have evening meals in London or back in the room. The accommodation residence is conveniently situated on the Bakerloo line that runs right through central London and all travelers will get a zones 1 & 2 travel pass (Oyster Card) for all buses and the London Underground.
THE SIGNHTSEEING ■ Each morning we will visit one of the world famous museums, galleries or areas that make up London. We start with a fully guided walking tour of London with the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. We also visit the Thames Southbank, the British Museum, National Gallery, Greenwich by boat, the Natural History Museum and St Paul’s. Our guides can tell you the history of the places along the way or you can set a meeting point and discover these by yourself.
THE SHOPPING ■ Obviously this is not mandatory but guests have the option to travel with us to Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Camden Market, Borough Market, Spitalfields, Canary Wharf, Westfields Shopping centre and one of the Designer Outlet shopping villages in London.
Our guide can help you booking and visiting all the other sights and experiences London has to offer including: Madame Tussaud’s, a West End show, restaurants and pub crawls, Harry Potter World, premier league football matches and lots more.
